Hi there! I’m Bailey Beaufill.

I am a self taught creative born and raised in Rotorua, New Zealand. I love anything involved with using a camera, whether that be photography, videography, or post production.

There has always been a camera in my hand since I was 6 years old. My Nana used to buy disposable film cameras for myself and my sibling to play with, but as I got older, I would practice shooting images on my iPhone and show them to my mother who probably had to fake a lot of amazement just to keep me pushing forward, improving my craft.

At 16, I realised that high school didn’t hold the right path forward for me, so I left to help my mother set up and open her own real estate company, Letterbox Realty. After a year of being an administrator, personal assistant, web and marketing designer and, of course, property photographer, I got presented with the opportunity to study film and television at South Seas Film School in 2019.

The skills and experience I gained from studying post production lead me to work for Warner Bros NZ, Mediaworks and DiscoveryNZ.. After a while, I quickly learnt that a life sitting behind a desk was not for me, and I needed to get a camera back in hand.

This desire to escape office life lead me back to Real Estate, but this time, in Auckland. I spent approximately 18 months with MyAgent photographing some stunning properties for brands such as Barfoot & Thompson, Ray White, Harcourts, Bayleys and more.

However, as most Kiwi’s do, I ventured to Europe for a simple holiday but returned with a partner and desire to return for more. So, my current situation is open. It’s a bit of an open book at the moment. Who knows where I will end up next?
